I came down here for the first week in January 2023 with the idea to add something new to the studio and walked away with SO MUCH MORE! I got to learn the legacy for this man who wanted to teach others that yes, they can really do this! They can create art! I learned what it was like to be in the student seat for classes and how scary it is to try! We put so much pressure on ourselves to be perfect that it takes away the fun of art!

What is this Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet Technique®?
The Bob Ross Wet-on-Wet Technique® or Alla Prima style allows the beginner painter to complete a painting in a short amount of time. Traditional oil painting methods require that you wait between each color for the oil to dry. That is the genius of the wet-on-wet method, that you can mix the perfect color on the canvas. Blending the colors in this way actually mimics the beauty of nature. Come to a class and create your own masterpiece!
